E112:
Solo deep dive today. Many of you out there are super motivated individuals and I love that but it takes more than motivation to get through the hard times and days when it isn’t enough to keep you moving or isn’t present at all. Something much more powerful than any motivator is a HABIT. Today we go through some things that have and haven’t worked for me and how to start a good habit or break a bad one. Habits can be useful for everything from our creative, business, art, personal relationships, spirituality, etc. Finding a way to create a force stronger than your motivation to help get you where you want to be at in consistent and little steps is so needed to get past the hard days. Everyone has highs and lows, habits can get you through them.

Quotes
“ A big thing that people say is “I don’t have time for that” but what they really mean is it’s not high enough on my priority list for me to do that right now. It means that you haven’t decided that it’s a high enough priority to yourself in order to designate that time towards that task.” - Host Dave Swillum
“ It gets back into your routine so much so that it isn’t obstructive anymore. I wake up every Thursday and I don’t have to think about how I’m going to be podcasting that night.” - Host Dave Swillum
“ Commit to something for a specific amount of time and tell someone else that you’re gonna do that so there is an accountability.” - Host Dave Swillum
